cthor's Full Review: A Maze of Grace by Avalon (Christian)
Avalon was recently (April 2000) in concert at my church, and although I had heard a couple of Avalon's songs on the radio before, hearing them live made a greater impact. The next day, I logged on to Amazon.com and bought all three of Avalon's CD's! My husband and I play them over and over until we're almost sick of them. I can't wait for Avalon to release a new CD to add to our small, but growing, stash of CCM music!
There isn't one song on A Maze of Grace that I don't like!
Avalon fans know this group has amazing vocal harmony. But what becomes apparent after a few times of listening to this CD is that each individual performer of Avalon is a great talent in his or her own right. And, if you read their liner notes, you will be amazed at how humble and down-to-earth they seem to be. And when they give thanks or praise to God, you feel it is sincere....and not just because they are CCM artists!
If you want to listen to music that is upbeat, fun to sing along with, and has a real message - A Maze of Grace is a perfect choice!
