I must admit to steering clear of BNL following Stunt's release. I liked a lot of the previous work, but was unimpressed by both this and Maroon. Hence, my avoidance. Maybe if I get real drunk and become a millionare I'll have to pick up the newest album.

But that's a long shot :)

I dunno...the last album (Everything to Everyone) was pretty good...there are some fabulous tracks on there...it was definitely a step up from Maroon and Stunt

...they just got dropped by their record label

maybe this is for the best. Perhaps we'll see a return to the old BNL. fingers crossed

I'd buy you MH
and keep the other $999,999 for myself...

:)

or would you prefer a real green dress?

Andrew - smarting off 'cuz he loves/hates BNL for all the same reasons you mentioned here

Yeah. They can write a great song--they've proven it over and over and over again. I think that label pressure had something to do with the drastic change of quality in the late 1990's but not entirely...

Anyway, I do suspect they'll get another deal. BNL isn't dead, just dormant.

Thanks, Matt, for the comment. I'm glad I'm not entirely alone in the assessment.

This album is highly over-rated, and it's follow up is only slightly better

Ed and Steve can still write a hell of a song though, so I'll continue to support them, even though they just got dropped by their record label
