Outkast is one of the premier rap groups out there today. I was actually very skeptical when I got this cd, because the other cds were so good I thought they might just sell this one out. But no way! Outkast continues to push rap out to new levels. Something I think outkast really doesnt get enough credit for, I guess obscured by the obnoxious rip-off sounds of people like Puffy et. all(whose not gonna like a song based on a song they already liked).
Outkast's lyrics and beats are always fresh and original. All of the songs on this album(with the exception of the track with the female rappers) are excellent.
Definitley pick up this cd and give it a listen, it may change your opinion of rap music(its not all about bein' a bawler).
Sound:
The sound production on this album was very good, a notable improvement over their last two. The vocals are crisp and at good levels. Instruments sound fresh and properly mixed.
