kevinmcg's Full Review: Waste of Mind by Zebrahead
"Waste of Mind" by Zebrahead is one of my favorite CD's. I first heard Zebrahead when I saw them live, and knew that I was a fan immediately. Since then, I've seen them 4 or 5 more times.
The Cd is full of fun and energy, creating a sort of crossover sound that is not angry, and is sure to put you in a great mood and make you want to dance around. The unique sound results from the different influences the band has, ranging from 80's metal to rap. The band uses the classic set of wild guitars, bass, and drums, and uses two vocalists, allowing them to crossover genres of music in a single song and still sound great. It's music you'll have no choice but to appreciate.
Even though it's not really ska at all, if you are into bands like Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, or other ska/punk bands, I'm sure you'll love Zebrahead. Definitely pick this album up, but be careful, you might not be able to put it down.
