This is an incredible album by the metal gods known as In Flames. For anyone who doesn't know, they combine deathmetal vocals with catchy guitar riffs to create an innovative sound. Although this has been attempted many times by the so-called "melodic deathmetal" bands of Sweden, such as At the Gates, In Flames has succeeded in creating the best album of this genre yet. Every member of the band is incredibly talented and competent, and the song-writing is amazing as well. The lyrics are also wonderfully written, very poetic and emotional.
The album has ten songs, including two instrumentals. Among the best songs are the title track, "Jester Race," "Moonshield," "Dead God In Me," and just about every other track on the album. You cannot go wrong with this album. Even if you don't like any other metal, believe me, you will love In Flames. IF YOU LIKE MUSIC, BUY THIS ALBUM.
