john-g's Full Review: Voice of an Angel by Charlotte Church
Every century yields a few dozen timeless noble figures. The Twentieth Century might include Mother Teresa, Gandi, King, Picaso, J.Garland, Elvis, Sinatra,M. Jordan, etc. The Twentyfirst Century starts off with Charlotte Church.Truly "a voice in the wilderness". I really don't have the words to describe the beauty of this landmark album. Only to say it is life changing (like the first time you heard the beatles,or maybe even watching the birth of your child). You may have guessed by now that I am a fan(atic). This masterpiece has healing powers.I think reading this would embarass her, but I'm just calling it as I see(hear) it.From the very first utturance of her innocently beautiful voice your entire mood changes for the better. This music could melt the heart of the hardest of persons. What I'm giving here is actually more of a testimonial than a review.Because this album in my mind has ascended above anything else I can think of musicly speaking. You must hear this album yourself and make up your own mind. She takes you on a tour of spiritual, then taditional, then operaetic, and lastly celtic tunes that will leave you in amazement, and awe. This precious little Angel is our gift from above. This is required listening Period.
