jwcumming's Full Review: Everywhere We Go by Kenny Chesney
And you thought Kenny Chesney couldn't get any better after "I Will Stand." I made that mistake. I have seen him on ever tour and he is getting to be like good whiskey, better with age. I am a DJ at a country bar and seven of the eleven tracks are heavily requested.
The great thing about Kenny Chesney is his ability to blend humorous songs in with heart-ripping ballads. He has been able to do it since his freshman debut and he continues this Chesney Combination as his success rolls further down the future.
He opens up a slow two step in "What I Need to Do" but quickly picks it up with "How Forever Feels", an outstanding two-step. But the romantic comes out with the next track, "You Had Me from Hello." The track with he probably had the most fun recording was probably track seven, "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy". This song is a killer Texas Two Step and a lot of fun to do the Power Jam line dance to. And it sounds really good doing 80 mph with the windows down too. Other highlights on this album? Check out track 9: "Baptism"- a duet with RANDY TRAVIS!!!! We all know how god-fearing Randy Travis is, you will now know how Kenny Chesney is too. Oh, and also in typical Kenny Chesney style, the last track is a slow one "I Might Get Over You."
After listening to this album, I might be able to make it to the next one. The anticipation is killing me.
