seacow's Full Review: You Are All Diseased [PA] by George Carlin
I first became aware of George Carlin via his seven words you can never say on television. I don't recall exactly how, but i led me to buy "Classic Gold," which had the track on it. Recently, when I was looking through a CD store, I saw this album and decided it was worth buying. (Of course, I waited until I got home so I could buy it on half.com.) It definitely seems like Carlin has an axe to grind. He talks about everything from overzealous parents to overzealous religious freaks. (My brother and I got a real kick out of the religious segment.)
As is typical with George Carlin, someone's going to have something said about them that they won't like or agree with, but the main thing you have to get past is the language. Don't let your kids hear this until they know exactly what they should and shouldn't repeat.
Speaking of kids, Carlin had a lot to say about them. He feels, as do I, that kids are getting way too much attention. He's not advocating that you shouldn't love your kids. He's only recommending that you not take out a billboard. There's a lot of other stuff on this CD. Definitely buy this one if you have the chance.
