If you're a fan of Suede and need to get everything from them, get this. Otherwise, don't go near this. It's the worst Suede album ever. There's nothing daring about what they do on this album like on previous albums and everything from the recording quality, to the music, to the lyrics leaves a lot to be desired.
The album has it's moments, but for the most part, it is like a bunch of bad b-sides from a group that usually has great b-sides. Most of the album is very slow, which would be fine if it was for some sort of dramatic affect or something. A lot of the songs on Dog Man Star were slow, but those worked well, whereas on Head Music, it just makes the album boring.
