'Head Music'is perhaps Suede's worst effort to date, basically when Bernard Butler left, it all went downhill for Suede and Bernard's solo career. I found no tracks of interest on Suede's latest offering and found that the music is starting to become a parody of themselves. I found 'Savoir Faire' lacking exactly that.
'Head Music' is a far cry from their debut album of 1992 when they were perhaps the most original band in Britain. Their other outstanding album being their collection of b-sides and rarities 'Sci-Fi Lullabies' how dearly do i miss those sweet b-sides such as 'He's Not Dead', 'To The Birds', 'The Big Time' and 'He's My Insatiable One'.
Even the most hardcore Suede fan should be wary before buying this uninspiring recording.
