Zero_Lee's Full Review: Hangnail by Hangnail (Christian)
When you think of Christian music, the first thing that probably comes to mind are boring hymns or dull praise songs. Hangnail is far from that stereotype.
Hangnail is a Christian punk rock band with a very "thrashy" tone and a sound that is very close to old-school metal. Their songs are witty, catchy, well-written and are easy for a Christian teenager (or anyone else with a mind that is open enough to listen) to relate with.
There is nothing vulgar or degrading about Hangnail. They may be a punk band, but they do not follow the stereotypical lifestyle. Therefore, parents should rejoice in this fact and have no problem with their kids listening to it.
This is one great album. I not only enjoy it as a fan of Christian music, but most importantly as a fan of punk rock.
I wish that there could be more bands like Hangnail.
