JJFTAP's Full Review: The Better Life by 3 Doors Down
If you thought rock music had been burned to the stake by boy bands and singers who lip-sync, you are wrong. At least before this CD was put out, it was right. It is alternative rock with as high sales as N*Sync. Here is a preview of some great songs on this CD.
Kryptonite might be the best song I ever heard. It is adrenilane pumping drums, hard rocking guitar, and Brad Arnold's rocking voice. Maybe the video was a tad strange, but it doesn't matter. Best when played loud. If you hear it on the radio, but don't want to wake somebody up, put it by your ear.
Loser is also a great song. Arnold goes a little softer, but everybody else stays the same. Kryptonite has been #1 on two charts: alternative and pop, and Loser will probably hit both before is reign is over. Maybe 3 Doors Down will become one of those dynasties in rock-and-roll. This song is like the Red Hot Chili Peppers with Otherside, getting softer from its hard sound, with only one difference- this song is actually good.
Well, this is a great CD. Buy it soon. This CD will become huge, and instead of buying the really trendy junk, buy this song, because whether you admit it or not, you like this. This is one of those CD's so good, you could buy a stereo just for this CD. You should go to Best Buy right now and buy this or either of 3 Doors Down's singles, Kryptonite and Loser.
