Well, I think it helps that their 2nd album is actually the first MercyMe album I have. I never heard of them until a few months ago when grassrootsmusic was advertising their new album. I finally got around to buying the first one, but haven't listened to it yet.
Glad that I was surprising. :D

I'm amazed that you got through an entire MercyMe review without mentioning "I Can Only Imagine", instead judging the new songs on their own merit. That takes actual thought.
Ironically, I love "I Can Only Imagine", but haven't really worked up the desire to check out the rest of the band's material.
