I'm not sure if you consider the review and/or the comments section posts to be "utter crap," but I've added links to your websites, MC.

What a load of utter crap I'm reading here.
Still, what would I know?

Please raise your hand... (Reply to this comment)

...if you think that Mr. Waite is incapable of carrying Eric Carmen's mic cord.
Geez, Don, I don't even know what you sound like, and you could have gone Top 10 during that era of a musical wasteland.
Jon Cain, on the other hand, has been and remains a terrific keyboardist. He plays the notes that aren't there, if you know what I mean. I've had the pleasure of seeing him several times live, and even when he stays in the background, that piano glistens. His lead on Every Time I Think Of You may be the prettiest thing The Babys ever did.
Oh, and you wrote a heckuva review too, but a bazillion people already told you that, so I will just say, "Good job!"

Hi Nick,
Nice to see you here. I'll be reviewing Dave Smalley of The Raspberries' first solo album this week (which has features co-Raspberries Wally Bryson and Scott McCarl on one track).

That would be a great job for me--and to dedicate it to all of the studmuffins around here!!!
I can think of one right off the bat: I Will Follow Him!!!
There's one by Ray Stevens that might qualify where he dramatizes this woman getting these huffy-puffy phone calls.
Anyway, that makes two. I'll see what I can figure out in the near future!
Smooches!!!

AJ,
Glad to see you back in posting (and stalking) action again!
I wonder if anyone has compiled a list of the Top 10 Stalking Songs? LOL!

I remember The Raspberries more than I do The Babys and they really have a cozy, romantic sound.
Since I'm an old-fashioned girl, I have fantasies of having a tape of Go All The Way and playing it for my new husband (if I ever have one of those) on our honeymoon to put us in the mood for the first time--but I also have fantasies of playing it in the background for a nice kissing session any day now for Johnny Angel (though that might be like playing with dynamite)!!!
Speaking of which. . .I haven't had much time to invest in my "stalking" of Johnny Angel as of late, but I hope to resume stalking him soon--and I just might stalk you while I'm at it!!! LOLOLOL
Cheers!

Hi,
If you want to listen to a few short samples of The Raspberries hits (to see if you recognize any), you can go to:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000009CBB/qid=1062270052/sr=1-6/ref=sr_1_6/002-1861261-9523207?v=glance&s=music
It's the Amazon.Com retailer's website.

I never got into the Babys or John Waite. Even thinking about them, they still don't sound good. Still, thanks for sharing!

Thanks a bunch for the nice comments, Chris. I certainly agree that people should know who the individual talents in a band are, since those members are what make a band unique.

Awesome... (Reply to this comment)

...review!
I like the "history" of the different performers. It's too bad that many people today, don't know who any of these artists are. They here about groups like "Journey", but do they know who the members are, and do they really appreciate their talents?
Again, GREAT JOB!
