Nice Review (Reply to this comment)

While Paradise in Me showed a glimpse of K's Choice's talent, and the new greatest hits album is a nice sampler, anyone who enjoys great music should dig a little deeper into the band's catalog.
Their sound matured as any good band does, culminating in their finest work, Almost Happy, which is a tour de force with beautiful, gorgeous song after song, including Another Year, Almost Happy, Live for Real, Somewhere, Favorite Adventure, and many more.
Like any great band, a greatest hits cd only boxes them in. They have so many fantastic songs, they won't all fit on one cd.
And while K's Choice have officially called it quits, Sarah Bettens, the lead singer of K's Choice has taken all of the band but her brother Gert (they split amicably and there's no ill will) and gone solo.
Her first solo EP has just been released and is called GO.

Yup! Put it on your wishlist. I hate recommending compilations, but this one really does the trick. Gotta love promos--it's released in just over a week.

OK, OK, (Reply to this comment)

K's Choice is officially on my Amazon.com wish list. :) "Not an Addict" was always a hit with me, and I figured out why the other day--the sheer amount of time that it goes without any chordal resolution (music geeks--constant IV, V, and VI, but no I!) gives it this sense of tension that I just can't get enough of.
Plus, her voice is awesome. See? Something we can agree on. It was bound to happen someday.
