So "the best song of the album is easily 'Opera Star'", eh? Interesting. ;-)

In any case, I'm not shocked to hear of a (more or less) "hard-rock" album from Young. When I recall his surprisingly ballsy (and impressive) electric-lead playing on that old "Dylan tribute" TV broadcast years ago (circa 1992) where he stole the show, I deem Young a highly capable hard electric-lead player (despite the fact that much of his relatively subdued recorded output didn't fully grab me--and despite the fact that his "whiny" singing generally made me cringe). I always deemed him a substantial, versatile, but somewhat overrated figure in the history of pop music. :-)

Thanks!

I thought that was an irate Neil Young fan who only read the first paragraph, but I quickly noticed that everyone was getting that treatment.

It would have been more fun if it was an irate Neil Young fan, though...

who the HECK this [hidden reviewer] who keeps leaving SHs and NHs is.

I don't know why the recent rash of this ghostly rater bugs me now, but it does.

Your reviews are the toast of the music just-in, starcollector!
