Bonnie McKee has had her share trouble, and in her debut you get to hear about some of it. Her songs deal with the usual: breakups, sadness, relationships with older men, love. Oops, maybe she is a bit more trouble than your average girl.
Bonnie has a great deal of skill, both as a pianist and a vocalist. Her voice sounds incredible. That combined with meaningful lyrics disguised as catchy tunes, and you have one great record.
This is certainly a good album, and I expect Bonnie will be here to stay for a while.
