Look, i know it's rough on non rockers. It's a rock album, right?
In my opinion, Highway to hell is the best AC DC album ever. That's all there is.

a great and thorough review of this classic, early album/CD.

If you get the time {by now as LEAD you must be working 28 hour days on this site, Whew...} please check out my book review of Clinton Walkers "Highway to Hell" a fine, though relatively expensive, biography about the life and career of singer/songwriter Bon Scott & the early origins of this classic Aussie band.

that a lot of their songs sound basically the same, not to say that's bad cause I love 'em.

I'm a bit jealous of your adventure. It would certainly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see AC/DC in concert.

Thanks for the comments, everybody!

I was lucky enough to see AC/DC last year in London while I was living there. It was outdoors and absolutely fantastic. Angus gets into it with so much energy. Afterwards everyone made bonfires with the styrofoam beer cups and got new tattoos/piercings. It's the kind of scene you want after a long week slogging away wearing a suit in a bank.

I have the strange urge to play this at my funeral. Just imagine the looks when Highway To Hell blasts out followed by G~n~R's Knocking on Heavens Door?

Great review, miss these old groups

...hey!

Oh yeah, this is a cassette that I eventually wore out so you can barely even hear it now :)

Love every track on this thing, and listened to it straight for at least a couple of years in a row!

Cheers,
Shai.
