Blind Melon were one of the most annoying bands of their time. If Hoon didn't self-destruct they may have turned into something else. But as it is, I think you have to consider them as "one-hit wonders."

It is so funny you wrote on this album. A buddy and I were talking about it yesterday. He says to me... "Shane, who the frick were those bumble-bee guys.."
Blind Melon of course! Your review was right on; and they were so close to "stardom". Maybe if it wasn't for the likes of Screaming Trees and Stone Temple Pilots and their "similar" style.. they might have hit it big.
