Opinion Summary

Hello, I Love You... by melanierose | Oct 26 '00 Pros: A few awsome songs Cons: Overall it's the Doors' weakest album; the songs are too short and Morrison just wasn't "into it" as much as he should have been

With the exception of Five to One (I love that song!) I agree with everything in this epinion. This album is very weak compared to their others.

melanie-d#$%^ned great review.I thoroughly enjoyed it.You brought out some points I had not considered before.I always felt,IMO> that Morrison felt subconsciously guilty about being a draft dodger because he wrote
so often from what I felt was a "fighting man's" POV.He was even working on a screenplay of The Razor's Edge, wherein HE would play the vet...mmmmh-don't think you coulda put that one over,Jim...<S>
Rock on

thanks! it's so hard to review an album that you don't think is all that good when it's by a band that you absolutely love! :o)
