After ordering my tickets to Fantasia through ticketmaster, it ended up costing close to $35 w/ all the charges. It was well worth the money once I stepped into the IMAX and the movie got started.
Disney has a hit again! The animation was brilliant! There were several different short scenes, each with a different score of classical music:
One about butterflies, one about New York, one about whales who fly, one about Noah's Ark w/ Daisy and Donald Duck, one hilarious scene with flamingo's who can yo-yo, the steadfast toy soldier, a creation/nature scene at the end, and the original sourcerer's apprentice featuring Mickey Mouse.
My favorite scene had to be the flamingos with the yo-yos. They will crack you up.
Disney got different celebrities including Bette Midler, Penn and Teller and Steve Martin to introduce each of the scenes in the film.
Because it was an IMAX theatre, the sound was awesome and filled the room. It was also nice to see the amazing animation on a HUGE screen.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy this film, which was rather short (under an hour and a half).
