Truly spectacular. There are certainly moments when this IMAX film doesn't use the large-format print to its full potential, but if you pay attention to the narrative, you'll be so engrossed you won't notice.
There are dozens of remarkable shots to just stare at and enjoy, but one bit of notice that viewers may wish to know before springing for the tickets is that the majority of the film follows the sea life around one specific island, the Island of the Sharks, as opposed to a more global view of the oceans.
That being said, savor the amazing footage... I had no idea sharks herded their prey into tightly-spinning balls of fish and then just snacked away until the entire school was consumed like some aquatic bag of Cheetos. So cool I kept wishing I could rewind it.
Pretty good music, too.
