This well written post has been on line for almost a month and no visitors? Well, I commend you for speaking your mind. I don't entirely agree with you. I liked this film, enjoyed the Gene Kelley character's interaction with the kids and the other characters. The music is unbeatable and the 17 minute ballet sequence mesmerizing. But, you spoke your objections very well so here's an HR for a well written piece.
