"Singing in the rain" is a great musical with perhaps the most famous single scene in Hollywood musical history, but how is it vastly superior? Personally, I prefer Charisse to Reynolds; the Astaire style is not comparable to Kelly's; and Oscar Levant was always a major plus! 		Nov 21 '00
