Pros: The film was filmed on location and shows the historic beauty of Indiana.
Cons: The films only con is that it is extremely under rated despite Academy Awards for best supporting actor and screenplay.

I believe that the university depicted is Indiana University, not Indiana State University. I.U. is in an area with rolling hills. ISU is in Terre Haute. The cast talks about going to Terre Haute at one point in the film. It is humorous for those who know this wretched town.
