I have only seen that a small part of that one, and it was a long time ago, and it certainly doesn't look like I'm going to run into a copy of it.
I am glad to know that it is something worth keeping more of an eye out for.
Cheers!

Yes, indeed, Vormancian. I shall always remember seeing Patrick McGoohan in his first important role, as Starbuck in Orson Welles' production of Moby Dick, at the Duke of York's Theater, London, 1955.
I prefer the little seen original DR. SYN, George Arliss's last film, of 1937.
Good choice here.

Absolutely true.
He needs the right role, but when he's got one that suits him, he's really quite good.
Appreciate the comment.

Ha. Yes, that's kind of the gist.
Thanks for the comment.

Definitely not. Neither of them would want to, nor ought they to want to.
That's just the way I went with the write-off, as I said, I wouldn't think that anyone would to expunge any of the movies I reviewed from their resume, in fact, I would think they would brag about them to some degree or other. I know, I cheated completely with the write-off idea.
It's a great movie, and I wish I could get it, or at least get to see it again.
Cheers!

"The Boy with the Green Hair" (Reply to this comment)

If Losey were still keeping a c.v., I doubt he'd want to expunge that film about prejudice. Stockwell was very good in the title role and with so many gaps in his c.v., would he expunge anything from his?

. . . "outrageously hard to catch" but the film is not.
Is that the gist?
:-)
Great posting.

liked this when I saw it as a kid on TV. Patrick McGoohan is one of the best British imports of that era. Loved Danger Man/Secret Agent. Thanks, Marc!
