My eldest niece did the same thing with "Grease" in the sumemr holidays one year - watching it about three or four times per day for about 6 weeks... man I hated that movie for years!!!
I think I did the same thing with "Watership Down" - my father despaired of me... well, he probably still does now that I think about it!!!
What does Jioey do nowadays - he wasn't in many films so I'm taking it he gave up the acting lark?

Annoying voices are somehow so much funnier when you're 8 years old!!!!
Might look out for the Journey of Nattie Gann, I've not even heard of it that I remember, far less seen it!

over a hundred times as a kid. Mom always rolled her eyes when I picked it out at the video store AGAIN. I probably would have had to give it four stars just due to nostalgia :).

I got this movie for Christmas this year as sort of a reminiscent present...because my brother and I used to like it when we were kids. It was pretty much how I remember it, except I never realized how incredibly annoying Pee-Wee's voice was as the space ship. It's probably the worst part of the movie.
...I also got The Journey of Nattie Gann. That one was suprisingly good, even now that I'm older.
Good review, you hit on pretty much everything there is to say.
