Andy Farmer is a sports writer in Manhattan who wants to make it big by writhing a best selling novel, so he quites his job and he and his wife,Elizabeth move to the country.From there on it is laughter for you and I, and nothing but trouble for poor Andy and Elizabeth. Everything from a drunken crazy mailman, townspeople that are far from friendly to new newcomers, a phone company that gives them a pay phone in their home, a dead body in the garden, a dog that runs away to one which does not even move, a local sheriff who will not even drive so goes everywhere in a taxi, and on and on.You will have to watch the movie to believe all the crazy situations the author came up with for poor Andy to face.
