A turkey is for life (Reply to this comment)

This review is too funny. This is one of those films that you just know everyone got really excited about when they first started working on it, but then got really bored halfway through and just went on auto-pilot until they finished the damn thing.
This is an absolute mess, I'm still gobsmacked at how bad this film really is. Your review did it justice. Kudos.

It's funny but I've always thought that "Don't Look Back" was pretty overrated too. Seeing Dylan perform on stage is good, but the rest of the time he really is quite insufferable. Fame, eh?
Thanks for the comment.

the unconvincingly named James Colt ( why not James Stallion or James Thrust?)
Ha! But really, now, would "James Thrust" be a good name for an introspective, prematurely moldy young man with synthesizers? Of course not! Neither would James Colt, of course, but now you're just being picky.
I know i'm far in the minority, but i think the "classic" documentary bio-pic Don't Look Back was already a case of Bob Dylan enlivening some spectacularly dull filmmaking. Here's praying that here in 2004, he doesn't have to anymore.
cheers,
