Favorite Sexy/ Erotic Movie Write-off.

Try to pick your absolute favorite, but if you need to write about more, do it and let me know. I'll post a link to your review or reviews at the bottom of this one, and put a notice on my profile page about this write-off.
I'll update at least a few times per week, maybe more.

I've done some lists of sexy movies --which has got people wanting me to create a write-off so they could write about their fave erotic movies or tell you about some actress they fantasized about---Wait a minute, women and gay folks, don't exclude yourself from this. Write about your favorite erotic scenes...straight, gay, inter-terresterial!!! AND not the prim, proper sophisticated romantic ones either... No no.. SEXY EROTIC PROBABLY NAKED ones.

Everyone is welcome to participate.

I mean even if you don't want to write about Laura Antonelli that's okay... I'll understand and deal with this... it may take me a little time, but I will be strong and...

Awkward segue-way into the review....

The most entertaining Antonelli films to watch that feature several nude scenes are Malicious
and The Divine Nymph. Nymph probably has the one of the longest and best completely nude shot of her if that matters to you.

Her worst movie, which is all tease and almost no show is one of her best known- WifeMistress.

Laura did appear in a couple of good films that I'd call above average or better as movies (even if she wasn't them in at all). There are thankfully some nude scenes in both these films and she is in them... so life if GOOD.

Passion D’Amore (Passion of Love), is well regarded film and happens to be the one Stephen Sondheim used as the basis for his 1994 Broadway play: Passion !!!

The other one that I'm going to actually quickly review now (believe it or not)

The Innocent

It is Italian director Lucio Visconti's final film, and released just two months after his death.

It's an adaptation of Gabriele d'Annunzio's 1892 novel about the decadence of the aristocracy in late 19th-century Italy.

Giancarlo Giannini plays an aristocratic atheist married to Antonelli and carrying on a fairly open affair with the manipulative Jennifer O'Neill. Giannini has a history of fooling around and has had mistresses in the past, but he expects his wife to be okay with this. He demands that she listen to his romantic complications and even help him think of ways to NOT see his mistress. He considers his wife his confidente and friend.

At least until he finds out that she has decided what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

He eventually discovers that his wife is having a passionate affair with a successful young novelist.

There's not much to the plot. However Visconti has characteristically recreated the world of the late 19th century with painstaking period details. the film feels lush, rich and decadent.

Gianni's performance begins as light and comic and gets more serious and dramatic by the finale. Antonelli's love-making scene is of course a memorable highlight.

Most of Antonelli's movies are out of print on video and not on commercially available DVDs. They do pop up now and then on television. You want of course to see them un-edited.

The video that was released a few years ago of THE INNOCENT was a pan and scan version of a non-restored print and did not present the movie very well at all.

Someday they'll do it right, I hope.
