Ok so you saw the movie way way back when.
Did it scare you? Did you stay away from the beach for the rest of the summer?
I can recall the exact sit I sat in the the theatre. I know who I was with.I even know which parts gave me nightmare.. What more can you ask of a movie so many years later.
So simply explanation of the movie is big shark eats lots of people, tiny town sheriff saves the day.
This was one of the great horror movies. There were special effects but not like todays movies when you are not even sure that the people are even near water let alone in it. It was one of the last horror movies that did not involve a crazed person using a chain saw, a doll with a bad attitude or a guy with nails way too long.
If you liked the formentioned movies then rent jaws.turn out the lights and enjoy a really good movie
