I'm looking forward to your review of "The Ladykillers," my favorite of all the great Ealing comedies. I was underwhelmed by "Passport to Pimlico", but want to see "Whiskey Galore!" Would you vet that for me?
My list for this month is set already but does include The Ladykillers. Neither of the other two even made my preliminary list of 140, much less the cut to 31. I may do another British month a few months from now, but for August, my plan is to turn to the Aussies, New Zealand, Ireland, and english-language films from Canada, probably about 20-25 total.

"semi-effective," "Fish Called Wanda"? I thought it was hilarious. Be that as it may, I'm looking forward to your review of "The Ladykillers," my favorite of all the great Ealing comedies.
