The man is shopping around for a brand new car because the one he is currently driving is in no condition to be driven anywhere and so, he goes to a car dealer and tells the sales person that he is looking for a new car and so, he was asked to wait. He waited and waited and finally, the sales person comes back out and that is when the man starts asking about his new car and so, he is told to wait again. By that time, his old car is taken away and he is unaware that they have already crushed it to the ground. After waiting again for a long time, he finally demands that he gets his old car back, and so, they go and retrieve the already crushed car and when they bring it out for him, that was when he demanded to have his new car right then.

The new car that he bought had tail lights that were double on each side and the side panels were different as well. The front lights were also different, but what was familiar to me was that the car did not have a special name to it. It was a commonly known car. But it looked a bit funky. You would not imagine that a man like this guy would even consider buying a car like this, but hey, this is suppose to be a comedy, not a soap opera.

Anyway, the man and his family all packed their belongings and they loaded up the new car they were driving on their trip and off they went. The parents started singing songs from their past, while the children put on ear phones in order to block out the sounds of their parents singing. Seated in the middle between the children was their grand-mother who was nothing, but a real pill.

The family is lost somewhere in an area where they are not familiar with. They are driving in a very bad neighborhood to where they get their hub caps removed by those bums living on the mean streets. Here, this guy is asking them for directions on how to get back on the highway and they're ripping off part of his car.

When the man finally finds the highway, everyone in the car is asleep which made him sleepy as well and he ended up falling asleep while he was suppose to be driving and the car automatically took them to their motel and that woke up all of them when the car came to a abrupt stop.

The next day, they all go to breakfast and then, they're off again, continuing their trip to their destination, but something else happens. It's involving their dog. One of the children left the dog tied to the bumper of the family car and when the cop pulled them over, he brought to the man's attention that there was a leash hanging from the back bumper of his car and when he got out to look, he found that his dog, well actually, it was the children's, but it was missing and the cop got very emotional about it saying to the man that he knows how it feels to lose a dog like that, because he too, lost a dog when he was little and then, he decided to not give the man a ticket. He just simply lets the guy off the hook and so, the family continued their journey.

Somewhere in the middle of the desert, the grandmother had died in her sleep while the man was driving. They all tried to wake her up, but no way could they do it. She was long gone and so, they placed her in a rocking chair on top of the car and covered her whole body with a blanket and so, when darkness fell, they placed her on the door step of one of the other relatives and then, they said a quick prayer which was funny and then, they left.

The next day, the family arrives at the relative of the man's way out in an area where there is nobody around, but them. They lived in an old run-down house which was on a farm and the wife of that man is several months pregnant. She seems to be a sweet and kind of person, but some of her kids are something that anyone could pass on. They were all spoiled rotten, especially the teenage daughter of that woman's. She did not behave very appropriately and it seems too, that she could have been molested by her own father because what fathers would want to watch their own daughters having sex with a man outside the home? I mean, this girl would actually brag about how her father tells her that she is very good at tongue kissing. BIG DEAL MAN!!

The man has the nerve to ask the other man for a very large sum of money and the man gives it to him because after all, he and his wife had invited them over to stay at their place and the man felt an obligation to do this.

When the family finally leave those hicks, they continue on their way to their destination, but somewhere along the way, there is this young chick who drives in a red sports car and is making eyes at the man who is driving with his own wife and kids and in turn, the man stares right back at the chick. He then, fantasizes that he is riding in the passenger seat with the chick, because he seems to want to be with her at that very moment, but of course he can't because that would mean that he would have to abandon his wife and children as well as his own car to do this and he would not do this.

It was at the motel they were staying at, that the young chick happened to be there. It was hot at night and so, the man decides to go skinny dipping. Of course, the young chick shows up to the pool. She strips naked and goes in the pool. The man too, strips and goes in as well. After a few minutes, the man's wife catches them both together without any clothes on. So, she decides to go out and see what is going on and the chick gets out of the pool and then moments later, the man's wife strips off her clothes and goes skinny dipping with her husband. The kids are standing right on the balcony just watching and laughing. All of the motel guests are also watching from above. It was quite a scene with the man and his wife.

Then, the family finally arrives at their destination. But when they get there, they noticed that they closed the amusement park where they wanted to take their children to and so, the man goes up to talk to the park personnel and then, he and his family almost gets chased out of the park, but then, the man takes over and demands that they get let in and they did. He had just grabbed a gun from the park employee's side pocket and used it against him and demanded as he was holding it against the employee's back that he takes his family on that world's greatest roller-coaster ride and they all got on it. Even the other staff crew as well. They all seemed to have a great time period.

This movie overall is so excellent. Well performed and the actors and actresses playing in this movie were all so awesome! The main actor who played the role of the family man is one of my favorite actors of all times. He is good in other movies too. In the second part series, he is just as good as in this movie. I enjoy watching this movie and the second one too. This movie is a comedy and for those who enjoy comedy, you may want to watch this because this is a very exciting movie and you will probably want to watch this movie over and over again. I know I did because it was that good.
