Early roles by the very talented John Cusack and Demi Moore are supplemented excellently by Bobcat Goldthwaits exceedingly funny, unique brand of comedy and several appearances by stand up comic Rich "sniglet' Hall as a radio DJ.
Cusack plays "Hoops," a just graduated senior whose parents give him no respect (his graduation present was a street cleaner parked next to all the ribbon wrapped cars other parents gave their kids) and was given a nickname as a child with the expectation he would be a standout basketball player. Naturally he had no talent for the game.
Demi Moore brings her rarely used, excellent singing voice into the mix and despite the ridiculous plot which includes numerous appearances of the killer, pink and fuzzy bunnies, it remains highly entertaining.
This movie is excellent for anytime watching and if you haven't seen it yet, make it your next rental.
