Pros:A hilarious, gory, and scary zombie film.
Cons:None
The Bottom Line: See it, buy it, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie's plot.

First off, if it seems like I've got nothing bad to say about this film it's because I don't. I absolutely love this movie, it's one of my all time favorites.

THE PLOT:
On his first day at work at Uneeda Medical Supply company, Freddy has a bit of an accident. It seems that he and his supervisor Frank have accidentely opened a container full of a gas that brings the dead back to life. Now the dead cadaver in the freezer is a little mad, and Frank and Freddy have no idea what to do. Not wanting to get the police or army involved, they call their boss Burt to see if he'll know what to do. When Burt arrives the three decide that they need to destroy the zombies brain to kill it because that's how it worked in the movie NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. So they open up the freezer and brain the cadaver with an axe. Unfortunately, the movie lied and now the cadaver is really mad. The three then think that maybe the whole body needs to get destroyed, so they have Ernie the mortician from across the street burn up the zombie in the incinerator. But once the zombie begins to burn the gas is emitted from it's body and is sent out of a vent in the mortuary's roof and into a rain cloud. A downpour then sends the gas into the nearby graveyard, causing all the dead to come back to life.
Oh, I forgot to mention that at this same time a bunch of Freddy's punk friends are waiting for him to get off work. And, wouldn't you know it, they are waiting in the cemetery. When the dead begin to attack them, the punks go and run into the mortuary where they must protect themselves from the brain-eating zombies.

Although the plot may sound right out of an average horror film, this movie has a strong sense of humor that makes this movie far better than any other involving zombies. A lot of the humor is shown right on screen, including the hilarious scene where Frank tries to kill a zombie dog with a cane and when a zombie gets on a police radio and tells them to "Send more cops." Along with this type of humor is also some involving the characters. Trash, one of the female punks, is naked for nearly the whole movie for no reason other than to be naked and two of the main characters are friends named Burt and Ernie. (Sesame Street, get it?) So go out and see this film right away, or I'll eat your brains!

Oh I forgot, if you go trying to see this movie you might be in trouble. The film has been out of print almost since it was released due to ownership rights or something. This makes it impossible to buy in stores and very hard to rent. The best place to find it would be to buy a copy from EBAY.COM or another auctioning web site.
