Jesse Ventura played a character named "Captain Freedom."
Anyway Dan, great review. I liked your commentary on this movie and how it pertains to the reality-based TV shows of the 21st century. I couldn't agree with you more on how surprisingly clever this premise is and how it satirizes on the game show industry. I also agree with you that The Running Man is actually more pertinent to today than the year when this movie was made.
Great stuff. I'm sorry I have been falling behind. College is a nightmare, and now, I have to deal with work. I'm catching up to most of your recent reviews...

Who did Ventura play? It's been ages since I saw this, and hey, it isn't like I'd recognize him even if I saw it today. ;)
