It was nice to finally see a woman as a capable person able to take care of herself! Battlestar Galactica even didn't do it as well in the beginning.
Thanks for the comment!

Great Review! (Reply to this comment)

What impressed me the most about this film was the leading, feisty Princess. Suddenly, science fiction wasn't a bunch of guys in a space ship exploring new worlds while the women did tech support. :-D This is the film that got me into science fiction and fantasy.
Excellent review!

Thanks for all the info!
These sound like they will be terrific. I should be done collecting all of the Star Trek episodes by then so it might actually fit into my budget :-)

Lucas plans... (Reply to this comment)
by firstcontact21
On releasing the trilogy on DVD once he's done Episode 3. He wants them to have a lot of goodies on them for people, in a similar vein to the Episode 1 DVD. Actually, one thing I also heard was that Lucas may release both trilogies a year after Episode 3, similar to how the original trilogy was released a few years back - once a month over a few months - so you can see the whole story play out from start to finish on the big screen.
I also heard the same plan for DVDs will hold for the Indiana Jones trilogy, once E3 is done, they will also concentrate on a nice special edition set for those as well.
Keep checking cinescape.com or theforce.net for info on these trilogies.
Great Review & Cheers,
- Steve
