I've seen this movie so many times, and every time I have to admit I enjoy it. Why? Well, any time you put Clint Eastwood and a gal like Shirley MacLaine together, you've got some movie. This is perhaps Clint's best leading lady
to date. She's sassy, cute, and funny and Clint is charmed despite himself. So are we.
When a prostitute needs a way out of a situation when faced with a gunman like Eastwood, she quickly dons the cloth and
becomes angelic. Can she stump Eastwood and make us believe it?
This movie may not have gotten the attention it needed, but it has more staying power than most. There is an attraction here that can't be denied, Shirley and Clint click, and they are the most unlikely partners in a scheme of a revolution.
A nun and a gunman, who would have thought this would entertain?
