You're nuts. The movie sucks. When you start extrapolating everything from driving a car into a bulldozer to "that few inches was all he thought he'd need" you've now entered the realm of surreal.
It's a stupid movie and the guy killed himself. While sad, there's no other meaning than people are stupid.
