Spring 1990:

I was flipping through the channels and I saw it. The commercial to end all commercials."TMNT hits the big screen in a few weeks? I'm going to see it". I was roughly 12. The cartoon was the only show on t.v. I enjoyed watching, so it was natural for me to like the movie. I loved it. Let me say that the costumes were far beyond my expectations. It was done right (although Don and Raph's faces looked a little off, they should've been modeled after Leo). All four turtles were captured correctly. Their interactions with each other were impressive; beautiful even. Anyhow, the movie was cool. The fighting was good, also. The setting? I felt like I was really in the sewers with them! The voices? Good, but I would've stuck with the voices of the ones the did the show. Don's voice in the trailer of the movie was fine the way it was. The guy who did Raph's voice doesn't really fit, and the lady that played April O'neil wasn't a good fit either. Other than those minor oversights, it's a movie I still watch to this day some fourteen years later(I'm 25 now). THIS IS WITHOUT QUESTION ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME.
