We have been somewhat obsessed with potty training in our house, as we have had 2 in diapers for over a year. We could just about pay a mortgage for what we have been paying in diapers. I bought this video and my daughter loves it...so does the baby. The songs are hokey, but they appeal to the kids. It took watching it on and off for a couple of months before she finally decided to give it an honest try. Then it took 2 days. That was it.

Other than the fact that you will find your child singing "Super Duper Pooper" and "I sit on my potty when I have to pee" at the dinner table and in the middle of the prayer at church, it is a good investment. Anything to get them interested. However, if you are trying to start potty training a child 18 months to 2 and a half, I don't know how much this will help you. I would recommend it, but it might be a good idea to check it out at your local library to preview it and see if it is what you want.
