This movie is about the realization of one's self through other people and their misfortunes. This is about friendship and love, but not the kind that starts out straight away. The two characters in this film grow before your eyes, from impertinent, self-loving children to a young man and a young woman who truly realize who they are and what they truly want.
Also very funny, very romantic, with eye-boggling skating stunts. Shows you a lot about the athletic world, and how seriously people take their sports.
