killbane's Full Review: Urotsukidoji #1: Legend of the Overfiend
Excellent animation effects and a strong plotline run throughout this entire series.
This series contains scenes of graphic sex and even more graphic violence- (the caption "absolutely not for children" in very large letters appears several times on the box-cover so you cannot say you were not warned....)
This series is available in America in either the english-dubbed or subtitles versions (as always, I would reccommend the subtitles versions- they usually dont get edited or watered down as much....)
This series is actually several stories with a somewhat disjonted timeline, so it can be a bit hard to follow between tapes. (For example story #2 might take place on March 13-17, while story #1 covers January thru June... this explains why two people who were killed in the first story are still alive in the following story.)
Spectacular animation will keep you captivated, and the subtle and not so subtle plot twists will keep you wondering what will happen next.
All in all I would highly reccomend this series for mature viewers of at least 18 years of age.
