I am 29 years old and I still think this is the best movie I have seen in my life! I worked at a daycare several years ago and we had movie day in which one of the students brought the video in. I was glued to the television. The entire movie was hysterical and enjoyed by both the children and adults in the room. The children related to those in the movie because of their love for baseball. The adults enjoyed the movie because of the intelligent way of presenting every day life in that time. I also enjoyed the entire part with "the beast" and how the children perceived him. I cannot compare this movie with another because there is no other movie in its league. It is an excellent family movie and any sports lover will enjoy it, too.
