This has always been in my top ten list of all time favorite movies (it's actually a top ten list with an additional four or five rotating ones, since my mood changes on a whim these days)... but with the stellar performances by the entire cast along with the... well, everything! Except, I'm embarrassed to admit how many times I saw it before realizing just who it was playing Elvis. Ah well, call it being sucked in by a good movie and oblivious to the obvious!

I agree that Quentin lacks the style to bring some of his more interesting ideas to fruition. I felt horribly disappointed by Dusk til Dawn. I think it could have been good, but maybe in the hands of someone else. It sounds like this one is worth renting! I'll have to check it out.
