Pros: A modern love story that works well for dates or beers with the guys.

Cons: Not long enough to get enough into characters background.

The Bottom Line: Don't rent it, just buy it! Watch it with buddies, alone or with a date. It's sure to please!

Plot Details: This opinion reveals no details about the movie's plot.

Pulpy films are becoming oh-so popular these days it's nice to see an original still swimming with the big fish. True Romance has an all-star cast including favs like Christian Slater, Brad Pitt, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken and even that guy that played Balky in "Perfect Strangers." In the style of Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers and Lost Highway "True Romance" never fails to get blood pumping and tension building. Though this film is not for the weak of heart it is a perfect date movie that doesn't require too much comprimising. The plot is strong as is the script and the entire cast play their parts to a tee. I hope you enjoy this film as immensely as I did and will continue to do for years to come.
