Jurrassic Park (Reply to this comment)

Life indeed finds away. The crocodile species (the levianthan in the Bible) is a living testimony that those reptilian monsters are still alive and kicking.
It is no wonder children are fascinated by those monster stories. As a child I was terribly afraid of trucks; Tyrannosaurus rex is a commercial brand name even in Jurassic Park.
Later on in life, while touring a bauxite plant in my country with a fellow industrial hygienist/environmentalist, I realized the connection between the childhood monster, those dreadful caterpillars, and dinosaurs.
My fear was instantly gone, and I praised God in my heart!
Moving along to real life; while visiting the Carnegie Science Centre in the summer of 1999, I had the good fortune of viewing a re-constructed specimen of that flying dinosaur reptile from which some species of our avian fauna have evolved, its genus has temporarily evaded me.
Later on, I learned from a good friend that that avian monstrosity is still alive somewhere in the remote regions of the Andean - South American mountain range.
CITES would probably list it in a new category of severely endangered.
I had to suppress a shudder, but I stared vacantly, for I remembered a visit to Chile in November 1999, and admiring that snow covered montane range en-route to Jamaica via Panama.
Are dinosaurs coming alive from laboratory bones and tissues? I'm still digesting the April 2006 edition of the Discover magazine.
Do not become confused if we are about to witness the living evidence of the Single Cell Theory in modern times. Creationist, hold on to your seats.
Sincerely
Elaine Foster
