This film is probably the most accurate rodeo movie I have ever watched. I had to see this movie based on the life of Lane Frost. Most cowboy movies have some city slicker wanna be, but not this one. It is the true story of a hard working good ole boy, that realistically starts his career at bottom and strive in the face of adversity. If you enjoy this movie than you will also enjoy: Urban Cowboy, The Horse Whisperer or even Pure Country. It is an enjoyable movie for people from all walks of life. It is uplifting, romantic and funny. What more could you want in a movie. The characters are realistic, the plot is strong, and no matter if you are from the city, or the down home country...the meaning is deep.
