When i first heard of this movie, i was like why should i watch it, bull riding is to rough. But I do like Luke Perry, and i love country music. So i got it, and when i watched it, i realized what i had got was not just a movie, it was a story, of a young man who loved his sport.
He rode high and mighty, and he strived for perfection, he did what his heart told him. He took the bull by the horns and went for the glory, he made his name big time and he had many fans.
He had a average cowboys' life but he loved his sport, and he loved entertaining, and in that he made his rodeo years his lively hood and his dream.
This movie is a good movie and it has a lot of sentimental value, and it is a sad movie. I sat there with a box of tissues, and not many movies do that to me. But this one was a real tear jerker.
Even to the last of his one rides he made his sport his dream, and not many will do that, this man was a true hero in my eyes. This movie ranks up there with the real cowboys and rodeo lover movies.
It holds one to the edge of their seats, and when you watch this one, you are not only watching a movie, but you come part of this movie. You start to feel what each character is feeling, and it is not one you take your eyes off from.
Anyone loving the thrill of adventure in loving what they do, this is a movie for you.
