3 Slackers, attempting to get their demo played on a radio station, end up taking it hostage by accident. That is the premise for Airheads, staring Brendan Frasier, Steve Bushemi, and Adam Sandler. The movie follows the 3 scurrying around, figuring out what to do, and how to get the tape played on the air. Along the way they deal with sleazy agents and executives, insane cops, and adoring fans. I found the movie very funny. It created situational humor as well as toilet and vocal. Buschemi is top notch indie talent, and sandler had one of his better performances in this movie. Frasier stood in as the moral dilemna in the story, being in the middle of a breakup. The only bad thing about the movie, is it's attempt to combine a lot of twisting plots. It's not that bad, but It's tough to focus. I guess it's Kinda Empire Records like. It's no biggie, just thought I should mention it. Funny movie, good acting, see it.
